林堡康斯托克综合征 是一种连接食指指深屈肌 (FDP) 和策略长屈肌 (FPL) 肌腱的解剖异常 (Puroshothaman & Powers, 2008)。肌腱的这种连接导致食指在 远端 指间 (DIP) 关节，拇指指间 (IP) 关节弯曲。该异常的发生率为37%，单侧体征的分布高于双侧。
在大多数情况下，林堡-康斯托克综合征是无症状的，但可能表现为前臂远端、手腕或手部疼痛。 正中神经 与腕管类似的症状也可能是由于肌腱炎症、额外肌腱的存在或腕管滑膜炎而出现（Puroshothaman & Powers，2008）。经常重复拇指和手指运动的人，例如音乐家，更容易出现疼痛或腕管样症状。可以通过手术释放 FPL 和 FDP 连接来缓解症状 (Old, Rajaratnam & Allen, 2010)。

Thanks for sharing! Funny enough, I also found out I had this anomaly during my level 1 OT fieldwork rotation at a hand therapy clinic! Actually, I realized I had this involuntary flexion of the index finger when I was young, in girl scouts, and I was unable to do the girl scout hand sign without my pointer finger bending. I forgot about it until my fieldwork rotation, where I found out the name of what it was and why it occurs! So, I guess another clinical test option could be to have the client try to do the girl scout hand sign 😂
I have it slightly on the right side, but extremely pronounced on the left side, which I only noticed after my left wrist broke and was surgically repaired with a metal plate. I can’t flex my left thumb without the 2 farthest joints of left index flexing all the way down. Can surgery or tge original injury make this condition worse?
